Our Story

I’m sure you’re sitting there wondering why we chose the name ” June 10th?  And What significance does it have? 

Well, June 10th is the birthday of our late grandmother Sibongile  Angeline Khumalo-Mbatha.  Our loving grandmother passed away in 2024, so the pain of her death still lingers heavily in our hearts. So we decided to start this company to honour her memory and the great impact that she has had on our lives. From today onwards June 10th will not only be a celebration of the birth of our company but also a celebration of our Granny’s life.

Our Grandmother may be gone but her legacy as a great teacher, caretaker and entrepreneur will live on forever.

maKhumalo, as she was affectionately known, opened her doors to many people who are now a part of our family. It is with that caring spirit in which we treat our customers.
